'South Croxton….the village on the hill'

A book has been written about South Croxton. It gives a history of the village, the Church, the School and the Moated site, and contains chapters on Ale Houses, Old Road Names, and many others.

Accompanying the book is a CD containing nearly 1000 photographs, maps, cuttings, and other documents concerning the village and villagers, as well as photographs and video clips of all the houses and spaces within the village boundary taken in 2004/55. The cost will be £10. Profits from the sale of both will be divided equally between the Church and the Village Hall.
